Walk For Dementia 2016

28th September 2016

Today was a perfect day as Inverell Home Support Program held their “Walk for Dementia” event. Around 50 people joined us as we walked from the Suspension Bridge to the Tingha Bridge and back!

Donations have totalled $311.00! These proceeds will go to Alzheimer’s Australia to assist people with services that are living with Dementia.

Thank you to all the wonderful people who attended and donated to this very worthwhile event. Thank you to the Inverell Macintyre Lions Club, whose members all kindly donated for this event.

Special thanks to Harold McElhinney, Jacque Pay, Wendy King, Kim Woodhead and Col Penberthy for their assistance in organising the walk and helping on the day.

Impressed!
