Services Manager

We have an exciting opportunity available for a Services Manager based in Inverell on a full-time basis.

Here’s what you need to know. Firstly, it’s a given that tertiary qualifications are important. These may be in Community Services, Aged Care or another relevant discipline.

Ideally, you will be a seasoned manager with a strong track record of achievement in aged care services or a related community services field. You will possess excellent leadership skills and operate at the strategic level reporting directly to the Chairperson, but yet you also possess the willingness to function at an operational level if required.

As an excellent verbal and written communicator, you understand the need for effective communication to both internal and external stakeholders. This is demonstrated by the presentations and documentation you produce and your collaborative and consultative approach to working with others.

Your role will involve keeping the team and the Board abreast of the industry changes and ensuring that our organisation is well-placed to meet relevant legislative and regulatory requirements. We embrace continuous quality improvement systems, and you will need to be someone that can demonstrate your ability to continue to steer the organisation on this path.

Experience across several software programs is expected and your enthusiasm to embrace new technology as it becomes relevant to our organisation is a must.

Being highly motivated and well organised will allow you to achieve the goals of the organisation and set a good role model for your team. Your strong knowledge of financial sustainability, quality, compliance and audit activities is needed to ensure our organisation is agile and responsive enough to meet the ever-changing environment in which we operate.

As an influential leader your capacity to lead our team of talented professionals, supported by dedicated volunteers is imperative as you guide them into the future. You will be skilled in the ability to think and plan strategically, with demonstrated experience in successfully translating plans into action, and getting high quality results for our community. You’ll love a challenge and be keen to focus on growth and innovation.
