Our Volunteers

Our wonderful volunteers are a valuable part of our organisation.

Currently we have over 40 volunteers that regularly give up their time to help others in their community get to medical appointments or enjoy a social outing.

Current Opportunities

We have a range of opportunities for volunteering at ICS including:

• Car drives
• Bus Drivers
• Bus Assistants, and
• Day Centre Assistants

You can volunteer with us for as little or as much as you like, so why not have a chat to us about how we can work together and help others.

Social Events

We love providing our volunteers with the opportunities to get together and have fun.  Celebrating special events such as:

• National Volunteers Week
• Christmas party appreciation luncheon for our volunteers
• Casual morning teas and more

Our Commitment to your learning and development

We feel that it’s important to provide our volunteers with a range of opportunities to develop their skills and keep up to date with the latest information to help them in their volunteering role.  We regularly schedule workshops focusing on:

• First Aid & CPR
• Manual Handling
• Low Risk Driving
• Dementia awareness

We may also schedule other opportunities as they arise.
