Our Community Transport Service provides door-to-door transport services for residents of the Inverell Shire for a number of purposes.

Visiting Family or Friends
One of our wonderful volunteer drivers will pick you up from your home in one of our cars or small buses (up to 20 seats, with lift access) and transport you to your pre-arranged destination. Alternatively, we may be able to provide you with indirect support through our Taxi Subsidy Scheme.
We encourage you to contact us to discuss your circumstances so we can chat to you about how we might be able to assist you.
Need some help getting to the shops or to your next appointment, or maybe to a friend's house? Why not travel with one of our friendly volunteers from Ashford or Inverell who will pick you up from home and drop you where you need to go.
We regularly provide trips to Armidale & Tamworth for people that have specialist appointments out of town. Due to the high demand for this service we can't guarantee you will be the only passenger, but we do try and schedule the pick-ups and drop-offs with the least amount of wait time for everyone.
To keep everyone safe we do ask that you make your appointments between 10am and no later than 2pm as this allows our drivers to travel during daylight hours for our out of town appointments.
All of our travellers are encouraged to wear a mask.

Enjoy a meal whilst meeting new friends at one of the great food places in our local area. It's a great opportunity to travel around the district and visit interesting places and also see the changes in the landscape as the seasons change.
